The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, modification, troubleshooting, and maintenance of new and existing equipment. - Reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor
- Schedule: Monday-Friday- 6a-6p. Weekends if deemed necessary
- Location: All Plants
Duties:
To include but not limited to:
- Programming of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC’s)
- Knowledge of PC software, including Allen Bradley, Process Control, etc.
- Troubleshooting and repairing PLC circuits, and relay logic
- Repair circuits, replacing contactors and switches, wiring new electrical panels
- Troubleshooting and repair high frequency drives
- Rebuilding, troubleshooting, repairing, and replacing AC and DC electrical motors, circuits, controllers, electronic devices
- Troubleshooting and servicing pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Perform safety measures in the design and installation of equipment, rigging, grinding, welding, and custom metal fabrication
- Knowledge of vacuum pumps and systems, material handling systems (loaders, silos)
- Repair and Maintenance of high-speed assembly machines and blown film winders, bag machines and extruders, blenders, compounders
- Maintain Maintenance Shop cleanliness and orderliness
- Wear all Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) required by Company Policy and follow all Company Safety Policies and Procedures
- Ability to work overtime as required
- Rotate on-call schedule with maintenance staff
Education and Experience:
- 5 years industrial electrical/maintenance in a manufacturing environment or Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering Technology
- PLC-Allen Bradley Micrologix 1500 and process control through HMI’s, industrial 3PH 480V distribution, large DC drives and motors, extruded resin production, pneumatic conveying
- Must demonstrate ability to follow written and verbal instructions with little or no supervision
- Ability to read mechanical and electrical and/or engineering blueprints, drawings and schematics
- Demonstrate ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems and equipment
- Prior experience with blown film extrusion preferred
