- Schedule: Monday-Friday from 8a-5p or as needed
- Hourly Starting Rate: $21.00/hr
- Location: Energy and Gas Department
- Reports: Directly to Product Manager for Energy and Gas
Responsibilities:
To include but not limited to:
- Well-spoken and organized person with the ability to provide a high level of customer service internally and externally.
- Accurately process and schedule all Domestic and International Energy Orders with customers, brokers, suppliers and logistics.
- Assist with monitoring Customer Products, Rail Cars and Truck loadings, to forecast a firmer distribution strategy
- Create and maintain an accessible and organized filing system for the Energy Department
- Assist with Inventory and Equipment directly associated with the Energy Department
- Resolves customer concerns and issues, in an expedient and professional manner via phone and email.
- Responsible for filling specialty gas products into liquid gas cylinders, T-50 tanks and over the road Tankers to proper capacity and accurately maintain records.
- Responsible for meeting all safety standards in the loading and unloading of gases per Amcor, Inc. procedures.
- Operate safely and maintain equipment for pumping
- Ensure any accident or injury is promptly reported; comply with all company safety policies and procedures.
- Performs other duties and projects as needed and assigned.
Education and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED), some college preferred
- Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Bilingual a plus.
- Must present a great work ethic and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced, open office environment.
- Able to work independently and possess a high level of integrity
- Computer literate with proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office software products.
- Must present a positive attitude with the desire to work as a team
- Operate a forklift
- Ability to lift 25 to 75 lbs., and occasionally up to 100lbs
- Must be able to frequently bend, stoop, crouch, reach, grasp and feel
- Ability to read and calculate lbs., to gallons – gallons to liters conversations and perform mathematical simple calculations
- Must be able to work outdoors in temperatures ranging from 10 to over 100 degrees
- Must be able to operate in a drug-free work environment
